Essa Petição pública expressa á liberdade de opinião, respeitando o poder legislativo, mas com o objetivo de mostrar os efeitos que ele pode causar na execução indiscriminado no campo. Cada ser humano tem que ser respeitado em seus direitos sem ser ameaçada sua existência, como no caso da Ilha do Catimbau. Por esse meio procuramos a liberdade de opinião.

Uma opinião de quem conhece concorda. O restaurante na Ilha do Catimbau não só oferece excelente culinária, mas também uma experiência da natureza inesquecível, e preceisa ser mantido ABERTO!

Uma arquitetura Caiçara, simples e integrada na natureza mostra um planejamento ecológico pensado.

Uma simplicidade que volta como lema de vida da família, do casal empreendedor Cacá e Mimi Freire; que construíram esse restaurante. Em tudo eles buscam uma simplicidade para mostrar o essencial: A beleza do local!

O restaurante na Ilha do Catimbau já foi inaugurado há 15 anos e conquistou um grande público no Brasil e no Exterior. Ele volta como imagem ideal do Brasil com muitos turistas do exterior e acorda uma consciência ambiental universal.

Uma consciência ambiental que os 3 filhos do casal recebem desde nascer. Foram amamentados boiando na água do mar! A família se sente diariamente agradecida por terem o privilégio de morar num lugar tão especial e ainda mais agradecida por poderem compartilhar tudo isso com os clientes do seu restaurante.

Uma opção de vida, que por muitos é visto como um sonho, uma família Robinson Crusoé moderna!

O ser humano é um explorador, sempre foi, e sair para o mar é o principal programa do turista que vem à Paraty e do próprio morador.

OPEN Catimbau island NOW!!!

This petition expresses our right to freedom of opinion and our respect
for the law. However, we would like to show the effect that the
indiscriminate implementation of the latter may have. All human beings
must be respected in their rights without threats to their existence, and
the same respect, we believe, should be granted to Catimbau island. we
hereby seek to exercise our freedom of opinion.

All those who know the restaurant on Catimbau Island would agree with the
opinion that it not only offers an excellent cuisine, but also an
unforgettable experience of nature conservation, and that the restaurant
must be OPENED again NOW!!!

A "Caiçara" (local) arquitecture, simple and integrated in the surrounding
nature, shows a planned ecological approach (idealized by Mimi´s technical
support), which minimizes the impact on the natural environment and offers
the possibility to enjoy ecotourism.

Simplicity returns as a motto in the life of the family of the
enterprising couple Cacá (Brazilian, "Caiçara" fisherman) and Mimi (Dutch,
Forest engineer and Landscape planner) who constructed this restaurant.
Their search for simplicity aims at showing the essentials: the beauty of
the place and the importance of nature conservation.

The restaurant on Catimbau Island opened 15 years ago and conquered a
large public in Brazil and abroad. It returns like an ideal image of
Brazil, awakening a universal environmental awareness and attracting a
large number of tourists from abroad.

An environmental awareness that the couples´three children started gaining
from the moment they were born. They were nursed floating on the sea! The
family feels grateful every day for having the privilege of living in such
a special place and even more grateful for being able to share it with
their restaurants´customers.

A way of life that for many people is like a dream come true, a modern
Robinson Crusoe family!

The human being is and always has been an explorer, and to set out for the
sea is the main activity for the tourists who come to Paraty and for its
population as well. This activity must be combined with nature
conservation, and this is exactly where the restaurant on Catimbau Island
aims at.

Worldwide "island-hopping" is number one in how to best spend leisure time!

Places like Catimbau island, where both tourists and Paraty residents can
enjoy (and not at all destroy!!!) nature are priceless. With the nature
experience enhanced with the culinary experience, as it is on Catimbau
island, everybody is lead to believe that paradise still exists!
